Back Paddock Company uses its wealth of agronomic soil health and plant nutrition experience to provide informative education to farmers and graziers across Australia. In some instances these courses are approved and subsidised by the federal government.

Course: Improving Farm Management (FarmReady 232)
This course teaches you to:
- Plan and record paddock rotations, inputs, costs and activities by paddock and by enterprise.
- Select viable management options through environmental, production and economic scenario analysis.
- Create accurate gross margin estimates and actual returns for cropping and livestock enterprises.
- Learn how to use your farm map for spatial and temporal analysis of farm management efficiency.
- Review and compare performance of paddocks from what you plan to what actually occurred
- Determine requirements and costs (per paddock and/or entire farm) for all operations and inputs including seed, chemical and fertiliser, livestock inputs, etc.
- Record and analyse all operations and inputs to improve resource management and farm profitability.
- Develop a simple diary format allowing for multiple and accurate daily recording with minimal effort.
- Generate customised reports and formats auto-calculating input and costs easily and simply presented.
