Course:  Better Soils Management (BSM)

A core knowledge agronomic course designed for the professional advisor. This course incorporates fundamental knowledge in soils, plant nutrition and fertilizer/ soil amendment technology.  Pre-requisite is that you have an industry-related tertiary qualification or a minimum of two years’ experience in the field of fertilisers and fertiliser recommendations.

Course:  Fertcare Level C - Fertiliser Environmental Assessment

A course in fertiliser stewardship and associated environmental risks to aid experienced advisors with making recommendations. The course covers Environment, Risk analysis and planning, Food safety, Sampling, Occupational health and safety, Logistics.

Successful completion is a prerequisite to become a Fertcare Accredited Advisor, and also counts for Agsafe Re-accreditation.

Course:  Fertcare Level B

Aimed at the people who work in the depots behind the counters who need awareness of fertiliser products and the factors influencing the proper use for production and environmental outcomes. The course covers:

  • Soils
  • Nutrients
  • Fertilisers
  • Application
  • Environment
  • Occupational Health and Safety
  • Sampling

Successful completion counts for Agsafe Re-accreditation.

Course:  Fertcare Level A

This course is aimed at people who spread, transport and apply fertiliser. The course covers:-

  • Handling fertiliser
  • Product knowledge and stewardship
  • Storage awareness for those handling, storing and transporting fertiliser products.
  • Occupational Health and Safety
